Vino Cotto Decimo – Anno 2009

“Decimo” Vino Cotto is made from the slow boiling of must in copper cauldrons and a long ageing process of at least 15 years in decades-old wooden barrels. It is a meditation wine, ideal with dry pastries, dark chocolate, and cigars.

The name evokes both the years of maturation and Decimo, the grandfather who handed down the family tradition.

On the palate, it is intense and harmonious, with notes of dried and candied fruit, spices, coffee, and caramel, followed by a long, enveloping finish.
